Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Google AdWords Expert to manage and optimize our paid search campaigns with a focus on call generation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and refining Google Ads strategies aimed at driving high-quality calls for our business. Your expertise in search engine marketing (SEM), ad copywriting, and optimization will play a key role in achieving our business goals and driving conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and manage Google Ads campaigns with a specific focus on call generation. This includes search ads, call-only campaigns, display ads, and remarketing efforts.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify the most relevant and high-performing keywords for call generation. Continuously monitor and adjust keyword targeting to maximize results.
- Write compelling ad copy tailored to drive phone calls. Continuously A/B test and optimize ad copy to improve click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates.
- Manage bidding strategies to ensure cost-effective use of the ad budget while maximizing the number of high-quality calls generated.
- Monitor the performance of campaigns in real-time, using Google Ads and other analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Call Rail). Provide regular performance reports, including key metrics like call volume, cost per call (CPC), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Set up and maintain call tracking and other conversion tracking systems to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize for maximum lead generation.
- Use demographic, geographic, and device targeting to optimize campaigns and increase the likelihood of driving calls from high-intent prospects.
- Analyze competitors’ Google Ads campaigns to identify opportunities and improve ad performance.
- Oversee the allocation and optimization of ad budgets, ensuring spending is efficient and aligns with business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Ads trends, features, and best practices. Implement new strategies and tools to improve the effectiveness of call generation campaigns.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in managing Google Ads campaigns, particularly in driving call generation or phone lead acquisition.
- Strong understanding of Google Ads platforms, including search, call-only, display, and remarketing ads.
- Experience with call tracking tools (e.g., Call Rail, Google Call Extensions).
- Expertise in keyword research, ad copywriting, and bid management.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, making data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads reporting, and other performance tracking tools.
- A/B testing and optimization experience for ad copy and landing pages.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other marketing and sales teams.
- Google Ads Certification or other relevant digital marketing certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
